The 1998 WWSA DragonHearts consists of some returning paddlers from last year as well as a liberal dose of enthusiastic newcomers. The team history is short, but the team objectives have all season long been: Have fun, stay dry, surprise some teams, and start a winning legacy.

The 1998 WWSA DragonSlayers are principally composed of returning members from last year's very successful team, plus a nice mixture of new young talent. Last year, the 1997 team participated in Montreal under the kind sponsorship of the Wong Wun Sun Association. This year, they also participated in the 1998 National Capital Dragon Boat Race Festival in Ottawa.
