2000 WWSA Dragonboat Team Photos

Waiting for the Ferry to take us to Center Island for the races.
Being on an island in Lake Ontario, we were unable to drive to the festival. We all had to take a 15-minute Ferry Ride to get us to and from the races.
Without TEAMWORK, there would be no tent to keep us dry. It's a good thing we put up the tent because it rained for much of that first day. Curiously, it always seemed to stop raining when it was time for us to race.
We were pretty happy that the rain finally stopped for a while.

Just like in the Toronto Race Festival, it rained the first day. We hid out in the tent. Also like in Toronto, the rain always stopped in time for our races.

Three WWSA Teams, Three Trophies. Each team brought home a trophy this year.. something that each and every member can be proud of.

Montreal Team Group Photo After the races were over, we got together for our annual team photo posing with the trophy and two plaques won from the races in Toronto and the three trophies.. one won by each of this year's WWSA teams at the Montreal Festival. Well done!
